Students & Protest - a series of black & white Xerox collages, 2002

May 1968 in Paris the artists can be seen occupying the Sorbonne, hanging out banners and backing the strikes. In Prague they sit amongst the crowds in Wenceslas Square and march against the Soviet tanks that invaded and  occupied the city as a result of the Prague Spring. Echoing Situationist gestures and collaborative actions they attempt to alter and subvert the history books.

This work has been shown at the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art in the UK and has been included in articles in Art Monthly and ArtForum magazines.
