Edible School Yard - This was an 8-month collaborative experiment to cultivate a variety of vegetables from seed in the courtyard at Bagley’s Lane, Chelsea College of Art. Improvised structures were designed using materials from local sources, including a neighbouring construction site and the college skip where students would throw their discarded canvas stretchers. The indoor space housed a resource centre that provided static and interactive information for visitors to engage with. The schoolyard became an urban D.I.Y. space for organised events and activities to happen.
