A series of silk-screen prints inspired by the high-density architecture in Fittja, a suburb of Stockholm. The tower blocks were constructed in the 1970s to house a growing migrant population and today, 84% of the residents are of non-Swedish origin. The Mangkulturellt Centrum is a public building located in Fittja which exists to interact with the local community. We made a series of visits to the Centre which led to talks with the curator and contacts with students from the School of Architecture in Stockholm, Sweden. These prints were produced during a residency at Frans Masereel Centrum in Kasterlee, Belgium.
